I prepare students for the singing profession, specifically the concert and operatic professions. I began performing in public with my parents when I was 4 years old, singing sacred music. I taught high school choral music, sang in the US Army Chorus after I was drafted into the military service, and then sang professionally in opera houses both here and abroad for some 40 years. I have 20 plus years of experience teaching singing. I’m a professional singer, songwriter and jungle singer. I’ve had students make it through the audition process and appear on the Voice and American idol. I am trained in classical technique. I’m a rock and jazz singer by trade. I treat ever student as an individual and plan each lesson based on your skill and level of ability. I’m sensitive to the obstacles that people can face when they decide to start singing and I very much enjoy helping students unlock the power of their voice!
