What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process is utilizing the skills the students already posses and enhancing their desired culinary techiques to cook the very best.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 22 years of professional culinary experience. I have worked in almost every type of restaurant and have traveled throughout Europa and Asia cooking, eating and learning my favorte dishes. I am a Certifired Exectutive Chef via the American Culinary Federation and have a degree in Culinary Arts.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge 200.00 an hour for personal lessons and 350.00 an hour for 4-6 new students. This varies depending on the dish and ingredients.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was 12 years old, my younger borther was my first student. And when you are in the culinary industry everyday you learn and teach others to cook.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages of indivduals and groups.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be clear about what dish or dishes you want to learn and set clear expecations for the time.
