About

We are a montessori based aquatics program with a therapeutic twist, specializing in reaching students who have been missed by traditional swim lessons.

S3 stations of success include components of real life functional swim safety (including survival skills), Stroke Development and a super fun component of Swim Play. We meet the students where they are and their needs which can allow us to individualize lessons, even within groups.

Inspired out of a mother's fear, created out of her love and designed by a therapist, S3 is a premier aquatics program of unique design.

The term "Big Rocks" is used often in the Montessori world. That is when our students accomplishes a big goal. The look of pure joy and self esteem development totally makes our day.

They never forced involvement. They gently brought my children from a state of shyness and fear into loving swim class. They use songs and games to bring skill advancement with comfort.

    Frequently asked questions

We take into consideration our new student's adjustment and comfort level to the pool environment.  This includes students current knowledge of safety,  body adjustment and ability to follow verbal and written directions.

So it is not just an assessment of swim skills.  It is an functional assessment for safety and skills in the water.

We are a lovely mix of Recreation and aquatic therapists and school teachers that have the skillset to work with all ages and abilities.

Our "Just Add Water" Mobile program starts at $25/person/lesson per 30 min to $125/Family Water Safe Lesson.  You tell us what your needs are and what goals you'd like to accomplish and we will design programming just for you.  For example, you may want a stronger focus on swim survival or you may want a more therapeutic approach.  We are here for you. You just add the water.

I started teaching lessons as a new college graduate with a budding interest with ensuring inclusion in swim lessons and designing unique aquatics programming for all populations ensuring fun first.

We work with students age 6 months to adults and all abilities.  We thrive on serving kids and adults who have been missed by traditional lessons.

We recently had an adult student who has never been in deep water before who progressed to feelling comfortable and skilled with treading water all by herself in 5 private lessons. Now she trusts herself to swim with her kids in the deep water.

Make sure your teacher fits your goals and needs, not you fit theirs.  A good teacher should discuss goals with you before the lesson starts and should, at any time, be able to share where you are at.

Students should think about their long term goal for lessons.  Do you just want to be safe in a pool?  Do you want to be safe in open water when you are participating in water sports such as kayaking?  Or do you simply want to become physically stronger?
