About

My business stands out because I do not turn clients away. Through my swim lessons curriculum, I can teach someone who is a new born to someone who is older than 55 years old. My business focuses on the individual and their ability levels.

My business also stands out due to my categorical experience level. For example, I have swam competitively for over fifteen years. I have swam in a summer swim team league, swam on a year around swim team, swam all throughout Seaholm High School in which I was a state qualifer and was a varsity swimmer. After graduating Seaholm High School, I continued by swimming career and swam throughout my four years at Notre Dame College Men's Varsity Swim Team in which I became a record holder. During my time at Notre Dame, I received the Coach's Award and the Most Improved Award. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and continued my education and went on to Wayne State University in which I received my Masters in Social Work (MSW). Currently, I work as a school social worker through Taylor School District working with special education students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional Impairment (EI) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In addition to being a school social worker, I have almost four years post swim instructor experience along with almost two years of swim coaching experience. My categorical experience helps me to develop rapport with clients and helping me to develop an appropriate program for them.

Seeing the smile on the face of clients when achieving goals.

    Frequently asked questions

When working with a new student I will assess their ability level and see if they are comfortable with me.

Been a competitive swimmer for over fifteen years, was a state qualifer in high school and swam throughout my four years of college in which I became a record holder.

Committment.  Swimming is a fun sport.  However, like anything else, in order to improve you have to put in the effort and committment.  For example, it is like a bank account, the more money you put into something the better the outcome will be.

Questions to ask would be, "What is my ultimate goal for swim lessons?"  Goals vary from swimmers.  Goals can vary from making into your middle school swim team, to swimming a full length of a pool to go swim in the deep end at a community pool.
