Jacq Clark recieved her BFA in dance and choreography from Ball State University in the spring of 2017. During her time there, she won three Glammy Choreography Awards, as well as receiving an Aspire Grant to produce and choreograph her own show ‘Grief’. After graduation she danced for ArtlabJ Detroit as a company member and completed two full seasons with them. She also worked on ‘Not In My House’ with Kristi Faulkner Dance, ‘Reflections’ with Anna Rose, ‘Inside’ with Kang Seok LEE, ‘Obsessed’ with Fun Girl Dance, Dj Marissa Guzman, Pussy Riot, and DJ Zeke Thomas. She has choreographed for T-Mobil, ArtlabJ Grownups, Suttle Dance Company as well as for two Ball Sate University main stage shows. Her work has also been workshopped at the North American Lab of Performing Arts, and Spread Art.
Teaching dance has been a passion of mine since 2014. With 7 years of teaching experience, as well as 6 years of assistant teaching experience prior, I have the skillset necessary to work with students of all levels. From adult beginners to advanced competitive dancers, I can help you reach the next level!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usally when working with a new student, I like to take the time to discuss their goals with the lessons. If a student is looking for an athletic gain, specific performance, better technique, or a fun pass time, I aim to gear these lesson plan towards these goals. Thus, allowing students to progress at a faster rate.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The studio Space is typically $35-$40 per hour, and my rate is typically $35 per hour. As a result, if I am paying for the studio I charge $70/hour. Otherwise, if the student/student family is having me to a studio, I only charge $35.
