What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process is to listen. Listen to their voice. Listen to their story. Listen for what’s right. Listen for what’s wrong. Listening is the first step I take towards connecting with my students. That way, I get to customize my approach with each student’s individual voice.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve helped over 2,000 singers find their voice by starting with technique, and graduating them through full vocal performance training. The youngest I’ve worked with has been 7 years old. The oldest has been 68 years old. I’ve helped beginners just getting started as well as seasoned signed recording artists. The genre is mostly pop, soul, R&B, gospel and folk.
