I am a classically trained , metal, blues, folk, pop, rock, guitarist that has taught since high school. I pride myself on my eclectic musical tastes and passion for said music. All I wish is to spark and further this passion I’m willing students. I have studied with many classical and modern guitar instructors. I also have studied at Wayne State for music education and I am almost done with my bachelors in vocal music education w/primary instrument as classical guitar

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Become aquatinted with them, what music they like, why they want to play and what, once established I work with holding the instrument, hand placements, hand care and do’s and don’t with instruments and hands. Slowly become acclimated with guitar and begin making music!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have studied with numerous prominent local guitar players throughout my years, have studied At Wayne State for music education, have been teaching privately for 20 years
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
i charge 30$ a lesson if I must drive further than 10 miles, 25$ if less, 20$ if you come to me
