I became a USPTA certified tennis instructor in April of 2018. A huge inspiration behind my decision to do so is a book called The Inner Game Of Tennis written way back in the 70’s but still considered today one of the best sports psychology books ever written. I’m passionate about learning, teaching and helping students reach their potential by getting out of their own way and developing trust in their abilities.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with adults with developmental disabilities as my full time job for the last 20 years. I enjoy helping people and developing relationships with patience, kindness and sincerity. Seeing my students learn and improve on the tennis while enjoying themselves brings me great satisfaction.

I am very new to tennis. Mark is incredibly patient and well versed in teaching this sport. He makes learning fun and is very kind throughout the learning process. He easily picks up on areas of weakness and adjusts his instructions accordingly. I feel fortunate to have found him. I enjoy having him as my instructor and look forward to learning how to perfect my skills.
