Blue Tree Music Education, founded in 2012 and located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the go-to music school in the area. I majored in music at the University of Minnesota, where I played solo drums in the concert band and jazz ensemble, playing behind Urbie Green at Carnegie Hall in 1975. I also hold a Masters Degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, and was for six years an instructor at Boston’s world-famous Berklee College of Music.
