We are a martial art academy that centers on families and traditional martial arts training. Respect, discipline and courtesy are built into all our classes and are taught every class. Students will learn the kicks and punches, life skills and develop long lasting friendships.
The school has a group of awesome instructors and leadership team members lead by Master Boltz. Master Boltz is a sixth degree black belt in Taekwondo who has been training and teaching for over 25 years.
Prompt response and communication, very friendly staff :)
On a student's first day they are assigned a partner with an existing student so during the warm ups they have a partner that can answer questions for them and help them along during the warm up portion of class. After that he second half of class is dedicated to the instruction of technique and the new student will work with an instructor or trained leadership team member and begin learning some basic kicks, punches classroom etiquette. When the new student completes this training (typically 1-3 classes) they will earn their white belt. At this time they will begin learning the required curriculum for advancement from white belt to orange belt.
I have 25+ years of experience in the martial arts and train under world class level instructors to keep my skills sharp.
I have a Instructors license and a Test Proctoring license from the Kukkiwon in South Korea.
i keep my staff up to date with the latest technique and teaching skills to have an awesome team of instructors to work with every student to achieve their highest level of success.
We offer a variety of memberships for many different of programs that we offer. I would ask that you contact staff at the school and we can determine what programs might best meet your needs and then we will be happy to detail he membership options available.
many of our programs offer a 2 week free trail so a student can check out the classes and make sure it's a good fit for them.
Early on in my martial arts training I started helping out with classes. I really loved the helping and teaching and I found that it made my martial arts skills much better.
We have classes for kids as young as 3 years old and students in their 50 and 60 and every age in between. If I have someone interested in training, there isn't a age that is to old.
Test days are awesome. It gives the student a chance to preform their technique and advance in belt rank. Many times the family and friends in attendance are amazed at the skills and abilities of their testing family member or friend. Many times it's the student themselves that are amazed and their own accomplishments. That makes me proud and happy!
Try out the classes. Make sure you enjoy the teaching style of the instructors and make sure that the classs they offered work for you. When you train, give it time and regular attendance and then after a few months see the results.
Realize that over time your needs will change and that's OK. Many of my students came in for one reason and stay for another.
There are no real bad questions to ask. If you don't know, your instructor the question and they should be happy to educate you on their area of expertise.
