Hi, there. Thanks for checking me out! I first have to state that I believe that voice lessons should be fun, comfortable and productive. I have been a voice instructor and performer for many years, having trained in vocal performance and teaching in both my my undergraduate studies at St. Olaf and then graduate school at the University of Minnesota. I am a professor at the University of St. Thomas. I also have a private voice studio as well as serving as the vocal instructor and coach for the singers at Eagle Brook Church. I am an instrument builder. I believe that all styles of singing need the same basic fundamental strengths and I pride myself in being able to build those for my students in a direct and understandable way. I love teaching all types of singers from metal to opera. I work with people who struggle with matching pitch as well as coaching the spoken voice. I hope you will give me a try.
