Personal knowledge of students is a key element of my mission. Interaction and diversification of communication techniques are key emphases in my teaching. I have taught Spanish for 19 years from elementary through adult level. Among my schools of employment are Priory, DeSmet, Whitfield, Crossroads, Barat Academy and numerous afterschool programs over the years at around 40 elementary schools in the St Louis area. Individual tutoring and lessons are a long standing part of my teaching.

I have extensive experience in learning and teaching languages. I have been a full-time professional teacher of Spanish and French for 9 years. I hold a Masters Degree in French with a Graduate Minor in Spanish and a research focus on language acquisition and teaching methods. I specialize in teaching methods that help students increase their listening and reading comprehnsion and, through conversational activities, help students express themselves through spoken and written language.
