I very much enjoy teaching beginners because I'm the highest trained flat-stroke instructor in the country. I re-enginerred the flat power-stroke forehand to never fail and children as young as 2 have taken my classes and continue to play to this day. Honestly kids 2-9 are the easiest to teach and perform these consistent powerful strokes the Best! Kids older than 9 through adulthood are not impossible but very challenging to teach I have found. And I teach the most simple controlled power-stroke that I engineered myself. 4 5 and 6 year old children beat me routinely in competition! Yes! Competition in short-court challenge games to 11. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching textbook basics on the forehand and backhand to master these essential strokes in just the first lesson. Many of my players come back year after year and start as young as just 2 years of age. I teach simple powerful strokes for beginners through advanced players and offer special pricing for loyal long-term students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching powerful flat strokes for over 40 years and have taught multiple children as young as the age of 2 who are all still playing. I was trained privately by Gloria Connors who's son Jimmy still holds the world record of 109 ATP titles. I can teach you to play like him. My 5 year old students can also.
