About
GCAPA is a dad-approved studio with age-appropriate curricula, costumes, and music. A technique-based studio, performance opportunities as well as a competitive team abound. Dancers progress through the Sparkle program into a Leveled class structure which includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre Dance, Hip-hop, and Pointe.
GCAPA teachers are knoweldgeable, seasoned, and compassionate. Kids are the number one priority for both technical development in dance, but also maturity and growth as young humans.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the dancer's previous experience, we may privately evalutate the student away from a class setting. Otherwise, we place all students first based on age to see how they fit amongst their peers. Once we know which classes are suited for the dancer, we walk them through the registration process and dress code requirements, most of which can be purchased at the studio.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Miss Wendi (owner/director) has been teaching dance since 1992. She has trained others to teach and developed appx 13 teachers who began by training with her first, including two teachers that still teach at GCAPA today! Additionally, Miss Wendi trains new teachers who come to GCAPA with dance backgrounds and a dream to teach. Writing currciulum and choreography are amongst her favorite parts of the job!
