Markei’s Music Lessons
About
Hello all my name is Markei and I am a recent graduate of North Carolina Central University. I have been singing for most of my life, but it wasn't until I got to college that I got my classical training. During my tenure there I was a section leader, a conductor assistant, and I had the opportunity to compete in multiple competitions.
I am a technically sound instructor that enjoys seeing the growth and development of his students. Aside from still preforming, I still want to help aid musicians young and wise to get to their desired level of musicianship.
I love seeing that expression on a student's face when they think they can't do something, but after teaching proper technique, they get it and their face lights up. That feeling will never get old.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Fist I find out what it is that the student is looking to do in the musical field. After determining their goals, I then check their range. If I'm dealing with a more experienced student, I would ask them what are some things that they feel they need work on after I hear them sing. We would then set up a regimen that would promote healthy singing and technique.
