About
I have two Master's degrees in Music: in Piano Performance and Theory of Music from Kharkov State Concervatory in Ukraine and in Organ Performance from University of North Carolina School of Arts in Winston-Salem, NC.
I have experience working at School of Music, Lyceum of Arts and continue working privately over 25 years.
I implement in my teaching technique all the best traditions of European and American School of Music. My students play repertoire that they really like and want to play: classical, romantic, jazz, rock, gospel, pop, contemporary.
I teach them piano technique, ear training, theory of music, elements of improvisation and composition - all the important parts of music education.
I pay a lot of attention to my students' professional injury prevention, emotional and physical freedom during our lessons, home practice and concert performence.
I enjoy meeting people from all sides of life, different ages and experience. I like helping them to set their goals and watch them to drow and suceed.
I like to work with young students and mold them into music lovers and professional musicians.
I enjoy seeings smiles on my students faces, share the joy by making music together. I like helping peope who come to my studio to make their lives less stressful and more satisfying.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually schedule a free meeting to get to know the student,
his/her experience and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a music director at church. I play piano and organ at contemporary and traditional service every Sunday and teach and conduct the choir.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after I finish College of Music with degree in Piano Performance. After College of Music I studied 5 years at Conservatory as Piano and Theory of Music Major.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked with different typrs of syudents: as young as 4 years old and as old as 75 years old. I worked with children with ADHD and children with autistic disorder.
I worked with college students and those who wanted to learn piano for simple pleasure.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire a professional
