Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. Knowing more about their swimming background.
2. Any goals that student is trying to achieve?
3. Does the student have a swimming pool accessible to him/her? (Student is responsible to cover the cost of entrance fees if swimming pool is not a public pool)
Depending on the level of background, the teaching method, material as well as the pace of the class will vary across students to maximize learning and also creates a better learning experience for students of all ages.

I have more than 12 years of swimming experience at the highest level and was a member of the national swimming team in Malaysia and NCAA Division II student-athlete while attending college in the United States. Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The pricing system might vary depends on the number of students in a group, lesson time, distance to the swimming pool, and frequency of lessons per week.
A typical pricing system for a once a week 45 minutes private lesson that requires travel to the swimming pool will be around $45-$60 per lesson.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of students from 3 years old to 40 years old and above with different swimming backgrounds (Learn to swim to competitive swimming and competitive stroke corrections)
