Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate is $60/hour but I’m open to provide discounts if you purchase 3 or more lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I’ve been teaching tennis since I was 15 years old at local summer camps. I perfected my coaching approach as I worked with several tennis camps and academies until I ended up coaching at IMG Academy, one of the top tennis academies in the world where Andre Agassi, Maria Sharapova, Kei Nishikori, and Serena Williams trained.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with all types of students. Whether this is your first time picking up a racquet, looking to be the top player at your high school team, or simply looking to improve your USTA rating, I’d be happy to work with you to achieve your goals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I recommend looking for experienced coaches that have been top players themselves. Coaching experience is one of the most important factors in determining a player's success. In addition, top players will be able to analyze your game and fix any fundamental issues much quicker than other coaches.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Although having fun is a big priority, I would emphasize having a clear set of goals. Once you determine your tennis goals, we can determine a training regime that meets your needs as a player. Don’t have any goals in mind? We can start with a few lessons and develop these goals as we go along.
