We are a full performing arts conservatory we teach all levels and ages of Dance, Drama and Music including Private: Piano, Voice, Guitar and Ukulele.
We have an amazing staff the absolute best around with a combined Masters Degreees, Bachelor Degrees, Broadway, Julliard, Nation and International Tours, National and International Workshops.

Qualifications
Dance Instructor, Choreographer and teacher with over thirty years of experience. She has taught, lectured and performed for various Dance and Theatre Workshops and Symposiums. She is expert in all classical forms of dance which include; Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap. She has also taught Bartenieff Fundamentals, Laban Effort Shape and Dance Injury Prevention and has included Pilates Mat training in her curriculum. She has written her own “exam based’ classical ballet curriculum for eight levels of ballet from pre-school through pre-professional levels, with accompanying music. Since moving to New Hampshire she is currently co-founder of Kearsarge Conservatory of the Performing Arts, which includes Dance, Drama, Music, Martial Arts, Private Piano and Voice. As Director of Dance and Children’s Theatre she not only teaches numerous classes but produces two Performance Venues annually The Holiday Show and the Spring Show, KCPA students also perform at many local community events. She has also written, produced and performed in numerous Children’s Plays for the Salt Box Players a company that brought live theatre and music to local schools in the North Texas area.

Masters Degree in Dance and Drama, University of North Texas. (1988)
BFA in Drama with an equal emphasis in Dance, Texas Christian University (1984)
She had a scholarship for Dance and Acting from UNT and a scholarship for acting from TCU
Related Activities
Since moving to New Hampshire she has taught a Masters Ballet Class for Plymouth State University, Advanced dance for KAT Company, She has also taught for Concord Dance Academy and Broadway Bound. She has also worked very closely with Susan Cancio-Bello providing KCPA dancers and choreography for The Colby Sawyer Singers Productions.
While in Texas she taught at The University of North Texas for four years. She was choreographer and actress for Cornerstone Theatre for ten years, where she performed in at least five original musicals a year with six to eight week runs. Then she continued for another eight years with The New Cornerstone Theatre. She also included a dance concert venue, two dance concerts a year, where she performed and choreographed. She was responsible for all dance programs at Christ Arts Institute for 23 years; she also wrote directed and co- wrote the music for all Salt Box Players productions which includes four major shows annually. She was the Director and Choreographer for Danse Vivant, the Jr. Dance Company of CAI. This group performed for more than a decade at various private and public groups as well as Churches, Schools and Festivals. She has taught at many workshops around the Nation which include; Ballet Magnificat’s Summer Workshop, the International Worship Symposium, The National Dance Workshop and several local Dance Schools throughout Texas. She was the original choreographer for The Promise at the Texas Amphitheater. Choreographed for Television: ”Nanna Puddin” children’s PBS series. She has also been an examiner for numerous Ballet Schools, as well as a judge and adjudicator for various interscholastic competitions. She has also played the lead in Summer Stock and Community Theatre with such roles as; Cassie in Chorus Line, Nanette, in No No Nanette and the Narrator in Joseph.

Mrs. Tarleton has over 35 years of experience, on a College and Conservatory level she has worked in every medium of the performing arts. She understands the performance process from stretching to warm up the body to the bows at the end of a performance. Being equally Actress, Dancer, Singer, Choreographer, Director, Playwright and Musician (also an accomplished flutist) she fits into any mold needed. She has taught acting to dancers and dance to actors she works well with Directors, Musical Directors even the Technical Crew. She has designed lighting for her Dance Concerts and costumes as well. She is a “Renaissance Woman” in her own right. When teaching, directing or choreographing she maintains a strong focus of activity, creating a sense of unity and purpose…that “gets the job done”! As an original visionary and founder of Christ Arts Institute, Inc. she kept the “vision alive” with her innovative ideas and dedication to excellence in training and performance and she continues to do the same here in New Hampshire with Kearsarge Conservatory of the Performing Arts!

Angela was a resident Actress and Choreographer for Cornerstone Theatre for ten years, performing lead roles in 5 original musicals annually; five shows a week for six weeks; New Cornerstone Theatre for seven years and Salt Box Player’s Children’s Theatre for 15 years; Artistic Director and Choreographer for Danse Vivant, her own dance company, for 15 years; and a free-lance Choreographer for 37 years. She is now the Artistic Director and Director of Dance for Kearsarge Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
