What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, it is important for me to get to know that person and to understand how that person learns best.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Noel Majka, from Dover, Delaware, has been dancing since she was four years old. She trained with The School of the Delaware Ballet, formerly known as Central Delaware Dance Academy, for fourteen years. This dance studio provided her with classical training in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, and pilates. During her time there, she was as to perform principal roles in major ballets such a as “Snow Queen” and “Sugar Plum Fairy” in “The Nutcracker”, “Belle” in “Beauty and the Beast”, and other various lead roles in original works. Through this school, she also performed at major theatres such as the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and Symphony Hall in Phoenix. In 2016, she was awarded a full scholarship to the Philadelphia Dance Theatre’s summer intensive program. Later that year, she was accepted into The University of the Arts with a scholarship.
