What is your typical process for working with a new student?

It's ALL new--new place, new people new experience...it can be tremendously exciting or a bit intimidating. We like to introduce a new dancer to our school by taking a tour; introducing them to other dancers in the building. Once we get that done we like to find out what brings the new dancer to us. Sometimes it's special event, sometimes it turns out dancing was always something the new dancer wanted to do, sometimes people are looking for a nice indoor activity to do socially. Once we get to know each other, we are ready to start dancing.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

BA in Dance; trainer to National finalist in ballroom and Latin; National Champion; licensed adjudicator with world Class A grade; founder of American DanceWheels; choreographer BBC and TLC; former professional ballet dancer is just the short list. A more important issue is, "I LOVE to dance and to share my skills to help other people get into the benefits and joys of partner dancing."

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

We advertise our regular prices on our 'Prices' page on the school website. We have always offered the BEST value in ballroom and Latin lessons for dancers at any and all levels.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Hire ONLY a CERTIFIED dance teacher. Hire someone who you can be sure WILL STAY IN THE AREA DURING YOUR COURSE.
