Do you love to sing? Would you like to sing with confidence and ease? Do you want to find your own best voice?
I'm Genya Muzyczka, a classically trained singer, and an experienced, dynamic voice teacher whose nurturing, individualized teaching method will build your voice and your confidence whether you sing on the stage . . . or in the shower.
I have a voice studio in Montclair, NJ, where I teach healthy singing technique that can be applied to any style of music, ranging from classical and musical theater to alternative rock and blues. My mission is to make it possible for each student find to his or her own clear and unique voice. Using vocal exercises, breathing and breath-management exercises, and body awareness work, the student can build a strong, healthy foundation and an understanding of a proper, safe and healthy singing technique. The skills developed in these exercises can then be applied to repertoire and songs in various musical styles.
Please visit my website at www.lyricvoicemontclair.com where you can find additional information, read my students' testimonials, and hear some audio clips of my performances.
I love to teach singing to beginning and intermediate students, and I am each student's guide to a healthy singing technique that can be applied to any style of singing: classical or musical theater to alternative rock and blues. Through vocal exercises, breathing and breath management exercises, and body awareness work, each student builds a strong, safe, and healthy foundation for singing any style of music. I take joy in helping individual students discover their own unique voice, and I delight in their sense of discovery as we progress. I accept students beginning at age 10, and I enjoy working with adults of all ages. You're never too old!
I have breathing exercises with Genya which helps me when I start to sing. She's out going and has a relaxed way of teaching. She's also positive with her teaching techniques. Even when I know I can't reach a note, she'll say, "You'll get there!"
