First, I would assess your range and vocal quality, then talk about your goals and what music you are working on. I will also assign you music after this. Then we can work on music and I will give you notes on how to create a more consistent, full, and healthy sound. From there we can talk about performance aspects and effective storytelling With Acting students, I would start by asking about their previous work and what really spoke to them, I would then assign some material and start working on what this individual has to say, help them get into their body, help them loosen up, help their emotional life come through, work actions and beats. After that, I would do a bit of career coaching as far as do they want to do community theatre or feature films, and then help gear their materials to that market.

I have 10 years of singing experience and a degree in vocal performance from The University of Texas in San Antonio. I have also performed off-broadway and on an international tour. I have been acting for 7 years and have done TV shows, movies, and commercials.
