About
Hello!
I'm a vocal coach with over 20 years of experience successfully helping students achieve their goals. I specialize in musical theater and pop/rock vocal technique.
My teaching philosophy is that you are the artist. Your job is to envision your creation. My job is to help provide you with the tools to create it. Our lessons will be a collaboration of your ideas and creativity coupled with my ability to help you technically achieve the creation.
There are no "bad sounds" in my studio. In fact, "bad sounds" sometimes have to happen in order to get the to "good" that you are looking for. You'll never feel for a second that you are being judged, but rather than you are free to explore and try new things in a supportive and caring environment with no predetermined technical bias.

What DON'T I enjoy about what I do? I mean it. I absolutely LOVE teaching. When my students accomplish something they have been working on, sometimes my joy is even bigger than theirs!
I enjoy vocal study! I'm never happier than when nerding out by deconstructing the vocal technique of Whitney Houston or Tim McGraw or Joss Stone or . . or . . or. . . and then teaching my students how to do it!
