About
Piano lessons via zoom during covid are a great way to go.
Why? I will teach you much more than just playing notes on a keyboard. You will learn to listen to music and gain a lifetime appreciation for music in any style. As a world class composer, you will gain insight that others cannot provide to you, whether as a young child or adult, including seniors. Remote is also a viable option, because with Zoom the lessons are recorded for free and you can refer back to the lessons as you build your lesson library. Many like this better than in person because of this feature.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It depends on the student. I prefer the maturity and stability of adults, particularly those that have a genuine interest in learning.
Children forced by parents to take lessons are rarely successful and the turnover is high.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters in music composition and that helps early piano students to understand what they are hearing and how to play.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$60 per hour, or $45 in your home.
Remote lessons on zoom can begin at $30 for half an hour
How did you get started teaching?
I started as a faculty member at the college and also earned my way through school with private students.
