Hello and welcome to my music studio. My name is Kimberly Walton, and I have over 20 years of experience teaching private lessons and group classes virtually and in person. I am based in New York City, and I love teaching all types of music, from voice and piano lessons to songwriting and music theory. My students have performed at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Symphony Space, the Barclay Center, and the Apollo Theater, among other venues. I love dance. I love to teach it, do it and I really enjoy seeing my work executed. I have been teaching tap, ballet, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, reggae Dancehall, and Afrobeats for over 20 years and choreographing routines for solos, groups, children and adults. My style is unique and fun. Dance is my life.
