As a professional non-musical theatre / film actor I came to Colten to assist me by focusing on my technique. While I have had the fortune to be in a few musicals it has always been widely based on my acting chops and frankly the roles with little to no singing . I wanted to change that. In less than 6 months Colten has given me the tools to shape my instrument and access pieces of my mechanism that I only dreamed of previously. More than that, the foundational work that we have been able to do has allowed me to approach my voiceover and commercial projects with a healthier more grounded technique. I truly enjoy my online classes with Kelli. I love the fact that she makes you feel comfortable and heard and actually really cares about you reaching your full vocal potential.She's very patient but at the same time will be strict when needed in order for you to get there. At first I was skeptical about doing online lessons, but honestly it's very convenient that you can pretty much take lessons where ever you are. Even when I had an unexpected trip the day before my lesson I was still able to attend. And my vocals have improved immensely in such a short time. Im very happy I decided to go for it! She's amazing!
