After 10 years of a hiatus, I decided to venture back into the world of music. Jennifer Johnsons use of the speech level singing, has helped me to strengthen back my vocals in a very short period of time. I was amazed at how easy she was able to help me reach octaves I never thought I could ever reach. Coming from a classical background, I have had a few vocal coaches in the past, however Ms. Johnson is the first one I was really able to fully connect with and help me develop my pop mix so that I could cross over and sing pop music with ease. The exercises Jenn takes me through seem to have a built-in intelligence that trains and tunes the voice without effort on my part! The exercises do the work for you. I notice that after practicing the exercises recorded from my lesson during the week, my voice is clear and has more range. I can hit notes and can produce a clearer sound than when I dont do them.
