What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Meet to get an idea of your skill level, and to inquire about what you wish to learn. Set up a time and get to work.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Graduated from French Culinary Institute in 1988,worked at many great restaurants and hotels. I am a ServSafe instructor proctor, so I can teach and administer the final test.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Depends on what the potential student(s) are looking to do. It will depend on if you provide the ingredients or I do. 


How did you get started teaching?

I was fortunate to have been sought after, and accepted the position at a school which is accredited 


What types of students have you worked with?

Adults, and children, also handicapped adults.


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Since some of us are professionally trained, and work in the industry, do not become falsely interested in those that have never worked in a restaurant. We do demand a fair wage.


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is the ultimate goal of the classes you seek.
