The eminent principle of our institute is client-centered. We want our clients to be successful in their pursuits. Our instruction makes things easy-to-learn, and fun. Our instructors are patient, innovative, and humorous. Students are encouraged to be an active learner in our classroom, and have their own inputs in the process of learning.

Our programs started from 1992. I myself have Ph. D and two master degrees in the field of Philosophy, Religion and Humanities. The certificates earned by our instrucor include: Blackbelt in Karate, Taichi, and Mandarin Chinese. .

Teaching and learning are the driving forces of my life. Inquiring and sharing knowledge in the field of the Humanities and Body/Mind advancement brings me a sense of fulfillment and joy.

Since I am a 78 year old woman who is very uncoordinated I was looking for an individual to help me learn tai chi as opposed to taking a class. I wanted to improve my balance as well as core strength. Luke has helped me do both. He has also taught me self defense and

meditation skills which have helped me improve my over all self confidence. He is very patient, kind and thoughtful. I look forward to

continue working with him in the future.

Im very pleased with the instruction Im receiving from Dr. Luke. He begins each training with strengthening exercises. Much appreciated by this senior citizen. He is very patient with my progress in learning the tai chi movements.

When we began training Dr. Luke asked me my objectives which are strength, stability and balance. He addresses all these objectives and more with each session. I practice daily the exercises he gives me in addition to the tai chi movements.

I am fortunate to have connected with such a competent teacher. I highly recommend him.

This summer, I engaged Luke and Erin to teach self-defense to my 18 and 15-year-old daughters, my 13-year-old son, and me. We had about a dozen or so 1 ½ hour lessons in our home. We learned a great deal and enjoyed the lessons. I feel that if one of my children or I are in a situation where we must defend ourselves, we have the tools to be able to. This provided me with some comfort given that my oldest child has started college and is living away this fall.

The things we learned include blocks, punches, kicks, defending attacks by knife and gun, and tai chi movements. We focused on breathing and got a good workout each session as well. I highly recommend them for all these things.

Luke and Erin are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They were flexible, enabling me to schedule the lessons at times convenient for my family and me. And the fact that they came to my home instead of us having to drive to take the lessons saved us a great deal of time.
