I am a graduate from Berklee school of music with a master in jazz studies. I studied music in an academic setting my entire life. But then, I discovered that I was thought the fast way. The way to just get a gig. I then through a friend discovered joe Solomon. Joe’s teaching is the way to internalize the language of music. It’s the way to have a voice and a vocabulary. I am so glad we found Michelle of Take Note Lessons. We have a 5th grader and 8th grader who both actively enjoy piano lessons and are both progressing well. Michelle adapts her teaching style to fit students' personalities - we see this demonstrated weekly as our girls certainly have their individual quirks....and nothing seems to phase her! She's open and warm enough that they both feel they can talk to her and yet they quickly buckle down to work too. Strongly recommend!

I truly enjoy my online classes with Kelli. I love the fact that she makes you feel comfortable and heard and actually really cares about you reaching your full vocal potential.She's very patient but at the same time will be strict when needed in order for you to get there. At first I was skeptical about doing online lessons, but honestly it's very convenient that you can pretty much take lessons where ever you are. Even when I had an unexpected trip the day before my lesson I was still able to attend. And my vocals have improved immensely in such a short time. Im very happy I decided to go for it! She's amazing!
