As an educator, I am my students' advocate. Whether you want to sing opera, musical theatre, the blues (or anything in-between!), I promise to dedicate our lessons to cultivating your unique talents and exploring your artistic capacity in a student-centered environment. Because no two singers are alike, you deserve highly individualized learning catered to your sound, goals, and breadth of experiences!
In addition to vocal technique, I offer students a wide array of musicianship skills to help them feel confident and joyous. I firmly believe the key to success lies in healthy, informed singing! Please, let me know if you'd like to get in touch!
What I love about teaching is the opportunity to empower individuals and simultaneously build community. All my students are very dear to me, and I am always excited to discover their unique talents and musical capacities.
Taylor is a difficult act to follow because he has a very particular energy- one that supports others so lovingly and is uniquely his.
Taylor got me to enjoy singing with confidence, and that is what made the performance so fun in the end. When looking for a vocal teacher, you always want someone who will make you comfortable and be honest with you, Taylor is both of those things, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
It is important to establish a trusting relationship, as teaching voice can be a very sensitive process. I strive to make my students feel comfortable, confident, and aware of my commitment to their success.
