I have loved working with SD. I grew up as a concert dancer and was interested in transitioning into the musical theater world, and SD helped me make it happen! She is wonderful at explaining difficult concepts in a way that “non-singers” can understand and implement. I always feel comfortable working with SD and leave every lesson with more tools to use for both auditioning, and for just singing along with my guitar. She helps you discover parts of your voice that you didn’t even know about - skills you didn’t even know you have! Lessons with SD are both fun and productive, the perfect combination. 10/10 would recommend!

Working with Gayle has been nothing but the absolute best! Not only have I gained such a talented vocal coach, but a genuine friend and person to look forward to weekly. Gayle has gone out of her way to not only help me vocally but get to know me personally and touch other areas of my life. I am so glad we found Michelle of Take Note Lessons. We have a 5th grader and 8th grader who both actively enjoy piano lessons and are both progressing well. Michelle adapts her teaching style to fit students' personalities - we see this demonstrated weekly as our girls certainly have their individual quirks....and nothing seems to phase her! She's open and warm enough that they both feel they can talk to her and yet they quickly buckle down to work too. Strongly recommend!

Miss Christine is a wonderfully knowledgeable, fun, and patient teacher for my 10 year old who is learning the drums. She tailors each lesson for him and whatever he is wanting to focus on/work towards. She sends over helpful documents for him that she made, and she even looked up some songs in her free time to get familiar with the songs he likes even managing to find the sheet music for them as well. She remembers what they have worked on and new things they are learning and most importantly, makes it enjoyable! Miss Christine really goes above and beyond, which is hard to do via Zoom, and she a very talented teacher that my whole family highly recommends!

He's a great teacher: encouraging, but also knows when and how to critique and not discourage a beginner. Makes sure it is challenging, but not overwhelming. Encyclopedic knowledge of jazz and music theory. Definitely recommend!
