About
I work individually with each student with their unique strengths and areas for growth.
I'm not only interested in their development as dramatic artists or English speakers; I'm more interested in their growths as human beings and being fuller expressive versions of themselves, which are essential to being better artistic and technical communicators.
I enjoy witnessing others discover their full voice—in all of its vibrancy and uniqueness. Being a better artist or communicator means being a lighter, braver human being.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature at the University of Oregon, where I edited dissertations for EFL graduate students and studied fiction writing in the Creative Writing department's rigorous Kidd Tutorial Program.
I subsequently studied acting for five years at HB Studio in New York City.
I use the International Phonetic Alphabet to help with accent work.
