What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically use the first lesson to really gauge the student's current knowledge of the subject and to determine their goals! We work on these goals together throughout our lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music, and have tutored and given music lessons for several years.

How did you get started teaching?
I always knew that I wanted to spread the knowledge of music to others. I started with tutoring online and in person via my alma mater, and then branched out to other avenues as time went on. I even spent 2 years in South Korea teaching English to middle school students! I have many teaching methods that I can incorporate and customize for each student so they get an optimal learning experience!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids and adults alike, ages ranging from 12 to 40. You are never too old to learn music!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher has an online portfolio so you can see their expertise in action!
