Paula Contreras

Hello, my name is Paula Contreras, I was born in Chile and currently live in the United States. I studied to be a popular singing performer at the Modern School of Music in Chile in 1996. Before graduating, in 1997, I started singing on different stages and at many events. At the same time, I gave singing classes at the Modern School of Music and after that I began to work singing on Cruise Ships and touring the world. I am currently still on Cruises and doing in-person and online singing classes. The music that I like to hear and sing the most is Jazz and Bossa Nova, among other styles. The classes consist of knowing the instrument, internalizing the different parts of the phonatory system, then putting it into the practice of vocalization and finally singing the repertoire that you like the most. I focus on knowing your voice, the good, the bad and the ugly to start working from there. The idea is to relax and have a great time around music and develop your own unique sound.
