I offer one-on-one voice lessons and/or music theory tutoring in a virtual setting to beginners and intermediate level singers who want to expand their vocal abilities and musicianship. I teach beginner and intermediate musicians of ALL AGES and offer lesson plans that teach most vocal genres such as: classical, musical theater, and contemporary styles. I acknowledge the importance of singing with confidence and overcoming stage fright as an essential part of being a well-rounded vocalist. In addition to teaching healthy vocal technique, vocal anatomy and music theory to my students, I also incorporate stage presence and musical expression into their lessons to strengthen their skills as a performer.
I have a passion for teaching music and sharing the joy of music-making with my students. I currently teach students in a virtual setting over zoom where we explore the individual's vocal faults and finds solutions to improve their overall technique. I design unique lesson plans geared towards the skill level and goals of the individual student, and assigns age-appropriate repertoire to help them apply healthful vocal techniques to the songs they are interested in learning.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My lesson plans revolve around the individual and is unique to each student based on their skill level and personal goals. I acknowledge that every musician has different goals, and I plan my lessons around the individual achieving those milestones by increasing the difficulty with each lesson and choosing repertoire that the student is passionate about. I always focus on building a strong foundation for vocalists to achieve healthful & free singing through various conditioning exercises that emphasize improving their breath control, tone, and resonance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am professional singer and music theory tutor based in Boston, MA. I received my Master of Music degree from Boston Conservatory where I studied opera performance. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in music performance with an emphasis in vocal performance from Northern Arizona University where I studied vocal pedagogy, vocal literature, music history, music theory, and piano all while engaging in a multitude vocal performance opportunities. I have also participated in Musiktheater Bavaria, a month-long performance intensive opera program in July of 2019 where I had the privilege of studying and performing in Oberaudorf, Germany under the direction of world class teachers and coaches.
