My teaching approach: i play and teach jazz, rock, blues and r&b styles on electric and upright bass. i also teach reading, music theory and technique. (I'm the author of "Developing Reading Skills for the Contemporary Bass Guitarist".) I teach at the bass collective and in my Brooklyn Heights apartment My influences are: the usual suspects. My bass lessons take place in: The teacher's studio or the student's home Guitar Techniques: Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Performance.
