Karen H. says, "In August, 2012, under Patrick’s guidance, I returned to piano study after a hiatus of 10 years. With infinite patience and great sense of humor, Patrick helped me rebuild my technique, expand my repertoire and regain my confidence as a pianist. As an educator myself, I can attest to the fact that Patrick has an excellent understanding of adult learners and their particular needs. I recommend him highly!" Read more

S.W. says, "My daughter is in second grade and has been taking piano lessons weekly with Elena Baksht for over a year. Elena has a great approach with young children and my daughter learned not only to play, but read notes as well. Elena combines ways to incentivize my daughter to push herself and celebrate achievements and also finds more challenging pieces for her to play. We very much enjoy taking piano with Elena. Claire says, "I started taking piano lessons this past year as a gift from my musically talented mother, and found Cristina through research online. For the months that I took lessons with her she was incredibly talented, patient, kind and understanding when I wasn't getting certain notes. I couldn't recommend her enough whether you are beginning or advanced. Sadly I am moving away from NY so won't be able to continue lessons with her, but if you are looking for lessons." Read more

He is patient but he pushes me to be the best bass player I can be. In the last few months I've seen marked improvement in all areas of musicianship in reading ability, ear training and physical dexterity on the bass. Junichi is always prepared for class and communicates well during the class. Definitely check him out! You'll love it!" Read more

Reviews for West New York accompaniment lessons

Recent success stories from people in the West New York area.

As a theory teacher, Patrick Kreeger possesses the exact teaching style the subject requires. Patience, availability for questions and dedication to my desire to learn best define my experience with Patrick. It was such dedication that also made him call me out when he didn’t think I was doing my best or was making careless mistakes. Perhaps this wouldn’t be that outstanding except that Patrick did all of this long distance; he was in Philadelphia and I was in Delaware. He was timely in mailing me assignments and tests, and even more so in grading and returning them. I learned more from him in the 2 years I studied with him than I did in my last year of theory in my undergrad at music school. If you have the opportunity to study with Patrick Kreeger, consider yourself lucky. You couldn’t find better quality teaching elsewhere.”

I recently had the pleasure of collaborating as pianist for Peter Mark's master class for young Opera singers and found him to be highly effective in his ability to elicit the best possible results from each of the participants. Due to his many years of professional experience in the world of Opera, Peter knows exactly what is needed to be heard as far as vocal production and style in the widest possible variety of repertoire, but more importantly, through his unique methods is able to quickly achieve the desired results from each of the singers.

My daughter had violin lesson with Ms. Crisitna since 2017 my daughter start violin from school and seems has some difficulties that school teacher doesn't have much time help one to one. So we start having private lesson outside, and Ms Crisitna has helps my daughter fix a lot foundation and build solid skill to apply on school songs. Which is good way for long term playing.

Being a successful drummer is about having good time and good relationships. Shannon excels at both. He explains what tools you need to sound professional, while modeling what a “good hang” is in the music scene. Shannon finds the perfect balance of explanation and demonstration. He targets the smaller areas of musicality that can elevate a drummer from a 6 to a 10. Broadway drummers need to play in multiple genres. I have sat with Shannon and experienced his effortless shifts from rock to swing to pop. As a teacher, he perfectly communicates the idiosyncrasies of each style.
