Patience, availability for questions and dedication to my desire to learn best define my experience with Patrick. It was such dedication that also made him call me out when he didn’t think I was doing my best or was making careless mistakes. Perhaps this wouldn’t be that outstanding except that Patrick did all of this long distance; he was in Philadelphia and I was in Delaware. He was timely in mailing me assignments and tests, and even more so in grading and returning them. I learned more from him in the 2 years I studied with him than I did in my last year of theory in my undergrad at music school. If you have the opportunity to study with Patrick Kreeger, consider yourself lucky. You couldn’t find better quality teaching elsewhere.”

He's a great teacher: encouraging, but also knows when and how to critique and not discourage a beginner. Makes sure it is challenging, but not overwhelming. Encyclopedic knowledge of jazz and music theory. Definitely recommend!

I began taking guitar lessons with Thor about 5 weeks ago and he is an excellent instructor , Thor is focused on teaching me and explains and demonstrates all of the work we are doing , he is patient and enjoys passing his music skills on to me . Thor also never is in a hurry for our lesson to end , he always wants to get his lesson plan across even if it takes extra time which I really appreciate. So if you are looking for an excellent dedicated guitar instructor Thor is the right choice

Jimi is a great guy. Has me laughing and learning at the same time. I must say I've only been going for about a month and so far he's taught me more than I've ever expected. I played some guitar as a teen and after dropping off for 40-50 years he has me all excited about learning again. I've only been going for about a month but I plan on continuing forever. Give me a year or so and Ill update the review but right now I have to practice. LOL

I started taking piano lessons this past year as a gift from my musically talented mother, and found Cristina through research online. For the months that I took lessons with her she was incredibly talented, patient, kind and understanding when I wasn't getting certain notes. I couldn't recommend her enough whether you are beginning or advanced. Sadly I am moving away from NY so won't be able to continue lessons with her, but if you are looking for lessons.
