Classical music and reading is first, then we can explore what ever the child likes and wants. Thanks! My teaching approach: Depending on Age of student i will teach what ever is most relevant to the students development. Guitar Lessons Yonkers

Leon Muhudinov · Saddle Brook, NJ

What or who inspired you to start teaching?

"I was really fortunate to have an excellent guitar teacher growing up, and really supportive parents who introduced me to a lot of great music. So that early musical education really influenced me and I decided to share it with others. People used to ask me for lessons when I was still in high school so gradually I learned a lot from teaching and developed the craft. This was also a genuine way to share the gift of music with others in addition to recording and performing. "

Tell us about your passion for teaching

Part of what makes it so rewarding is helping students find their own unique musical expression and seeing them develop a strong passion for guitar playing and music in general over the years. It was great to see students go from scratch to writing their own songs, performing and recording. Also, teaching beginners to advanced players keeps things interesting and presents fun challenges.

"I would encourage aspiring students to always find joy in whatever they do and to enjoy the process rather than the product. This way instead of being a chore, your practice will be a part of your passion and will make you happy." - Leon Muhudinov
