I've been acting for two decades now. I know the ins and outs thoroughly. But acting should be fun, so in my lessons we try to use our creativity. I'm especially interested in how empathy and acting are connected and that shows.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from Knox College with a BA in Theatre in 2015. Since then, I've worked professionally as an actor, director, and writer in both St. Louis and New York, appearing in the NY Fringe Festival in 2016 and having a play featured in the Equity Library Theater Playwrighting Festival in 2018.

I typically charge $20/hour for a coaching session.
How did you get started teaching?
I helped run a drama camp for many years, where I'd help the kids with drama camp games, writing and staging a performance, etc. I also have worked with interns at Insight Theater Company in St. Louis and as a TA for acting classes in college.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages: from 5 years through college age.
