About
My training and practice has helped me get hired in Film, TV and Theatre, with a distinct understanding of the differences in style and technique applicable to each. My classical and character abilities, as well as my expertise in the execution and safeties of theatrical combat give me a distinct edge in application of physical interpretation. Musically, I'm a trained trumpet player and vocalist with a love for Jazz, Funk and Rock, and R&B, as well as Opera and Musical Theater, which allow me to offer musical performance coaching as well.
My favorite thing about teaching is drawing out the artistic truth within each individual.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first session is always comped (except the studio fee). During the initial meeting I do a 5-10 minute warm up, a work though of a short piece that will be sent before the lesson and a basic questionnaire will be asked to gain more knowledge about the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Fine Arts degree in Acting and advanced levels of improv training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
60 minutes- $50 + studio
90 minutes- $75 + studio
2 hours- $120
How did you get started teaching?
In college, as I coached my fellow actors and fell into the role of Director, I realized that I had a love for the process of drawing out someone's emotional truth.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have experience working with beginners, who have never performed for the public, as well as working actors who just want to polish their audition materials.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you ever feel emotionally or physically unsafe, move on to someone else. Your feelings are valid and there is always someone else to learn from.
