Leslie Silva Acting For Tv/theater And Film
About
I'm a Juilliard grad currently starring on a show for CBS. I also teach at a LaGuardia Perfoming arts high school periodically. I have worked with the best directors and actors in the business, Ray liotta, Sam Shepard, Edie Falco, Andre Bruer, and countless others. I absolutely love acting and really love giving back what I have learned to the younger generation. I have invested in this craft. Most importantly I HAVE FUN! It's should be easy and effortless and if it's not, I can get you there. I have taught privately off and on when not working for 20 years plus. Please find me on imdb. (Not good with linking stuff) FYI. I am $100 an hour. This should be clear so you don't have to inquire if you're not seriously looking. Thank you!!
when a student calls to tell me they’ve booked the job or gotten into the school of their choice. And beyond that, freeing the minds of artists to realize that they are ENOUGH.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first start out with a discussion about WHY they’d like to study this craft...I find this super helpful in determining the course we would take. That’s for NEW NEW folks. If seasoned, we’d just jump right into it. I find it’s best to begin work with not a lot of talking. Let’s see what the student has prepared. Everyone is a bit different on approach but all receive the same essentials.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I teach acting at the famed Laguardia Highs School. I’m a Juilliard grad with over 20 years of professional experience in tv, radio, film and theater. I have worked with some of the most incredible artists in the business, most recently Ray Liotta who I learned a ton from.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

For regular auditions 120hr. Really depends on the material.

Student age range from 13 years old to 50. All ranges of talent and expertise.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
