About
Originally from Detroit and now based in New York City, I’m a professional actor, director, and private acting coach with over 20 years of experience in the industry. I trained at California Institute of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts—and I’ve continued to study with master teachers in everything from voice and movement to character development and audition technique.
As a working actor, I’ve performed across the U.S. and internationally—on stage, in film, immersive productions, and streaming projects. Most recently, I appeared in the feature film McKenzie McCoy (now on Amazon Prime and Tubi) and toured with Shakespeare & Company’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. I continue to balance professional acting and directing work with coaching students around the world.
My students have gone on to train at some of the most prestigious acting conservatories in the world and can be seen in co-starring roles on major network and streaming shows, as well as in regional commercials, indie films, and viral social content. I’ve coached actors, directors, social media creators, public speakers, therapists, and folks who never imagined they’d feel confident in front of a camera or crowd. Whether you're auditioning for Juilliard or prepping for a TED-style talk—this is a space where we build craft, confidence, and career momentum.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all training. I combine a wide range of methods—Meisner, Chekhov, Stanislavski, Adler, Laban, Linklater, Alexander Technique, Uta Hagen, and more—depending on what’s best for you. Every session is tailored to your needs, whether we’re digging into a monologue, prepping for a callback, building your materials (headshots, casting profiles, resumes), or breaking down how to pitch to reps and book the right auditions.
Whether you’re just starting out or stepping into the next chapter of your career, I’m here to help you sharpen your tools, find your voice, and show up with confidence.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by having the student read the text aloud to me. We then have a discussion about the world of the play/film/show to get on the same page. I have the actor explore vocal and physical qualities that may or may not work for the role, but that may help to bring forth discoveries that they may not have thought of. Depending on the needs of the actor, we will then do a line by line analysis and dive into character with substitutions, fighting for an objective, overcoming obstacles, and relationship work. I also like to explore physical images and gestures.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Marymount Manhattan College - BFA Acting
American Academy of Dramatic Arts - Acting
California State Summer School for the Arts (CalArts)

How did you get started teaching?
I actually kind of fell into teaching. It started in acting school when a friend asked me to help her with an audition piece. She loved working with me and spread the word and next thing you knew people from all over campus were asking me to coach them!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with children as young as 9, seniors, college students, first time actors, and people exploring acting as a means of expanding their professional skill in an area unrelated to acting.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently got the chance to work with esteemed Broadway director Kenny Leon. What a life altering moment!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Read reviews, look up the coach online, and go with your gut. After a first session, if you aren't pleased and dont feel a connection, keep looking!
