For the last six (6) years STRUT has been developing models, actors and talent to prepare them for the fashion and entertainment industry. As a result of our coaching, many of our talent have been signed to top agencies in NY and LA.

Our modeling and acting coaching has transcended just our industry focus and gained the attention of Principals and After School Coordinators in NYC schools who adopted our STRUT-Esteem program to help introduce their students to the arts and also instill in them the importance of self-esteem. STRUT's modeling and acting coaching is world renowned with models coming from China for our reoccurring summer camps. Additionally, with access to a vast talent pool, we have been sort after by top clients, and casting directors.

We have officially become a one stop shop to help you get into the fashion and entertainment industry. Whether you want to test the waters with our intro modeling and acting classes or enroll in our advanced model and acting workshops that are action packed or if you want to go all the way to the top and receive our industry modeling and acting development to compete at the world's famous IMTA, we have got you covered.

My daughters gleaned tremendously from Shaw’s personal and professional expertise and vast knowledge of the entertainment and fashion industry as a whole, however what I most appreciated about her was the manner in which she genuinely cared for every person she worked with and mentored them, not only within the industry but in life in general.

As a result of that training, both of my daughters have had opportunities to audition and work in everything from short to feature films, tv, commercial and modeling for notable casting directors, producers, directors, companies and designers. Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Before working with a new client, we like them to submit a few photos for our review. Then we invite them in for a face to face meeting followed by an audition to get a sense of their skill level. Once we assess where they are, we give direction to the client and their family (if under 18) on which one of our workshops would best suit.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our Director Shaw Bernard has been a fashion model for the past 17 years. We also invite prominent Casting Directors and Agents to teach our workshops and extended developmetn programs.
