About
My journey has been fun and exciting, I was born in Peru, studied in Spain, played with bands around Europe and then moved to USA where I graduated from Berklee College of Music (Summa Cum Laude) as an scholarship student. Now in NYC, I've been working as a drummer and teacher for the past 12 years full time.
Teaching drums has always been an integral part of my musical life and all of that knowledge throughout those years is what I offer. I feel patience, flexibility and communication are really important to have a good student/teacher relationship. It doesn't matter your level or age, I'm sure I'll be helpful in your journey as a drummer.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of experience teaching both privately and through schools. I've also studied in Spain (Barcelona - L'aula de musics) and graduated from Berklee College of Music (Summa Cum Laude) as a scholarship student. Currently I've been working as a professional drummer and teaching in the NYC for the past 7 years
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I offer a first lesson for a discounted rate so you can see if I'm the right fit for you. If you decide to go on with the lessons you can pay by the hour or buy packs of 4 lessons (for a discounted rate too!)
What types of students have you worked with?
I've been lucky enough to work with really diverse people. From student that are just starting to learn how to play (maybe have not even picked up a pair of sticks in their lives), all the way to advanced (people that already play in bands), who are looking to take their drumming skills to the next level. It's been a lot of fun!
