About
- With 18 years of drumming experience in live and studio settings, I can teach how to get ready to play in front of thousands or be rock solid in the studio!
- In addition to the fundamentals of drumming, I can teach rock and jazz drumming as well as the foundational skills of Latin, reggae, jazz fusion, and Afro-beat.
- Some artists I've worked with: A Deer A Horse, Beau, Brody Dalle, Grand Master Melle Mel

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want every new student to leave their first lesson having learned something, whether it is a new rudiment, drum pattern, groove, or improving their coordination.
Teaching a new skill is like building a home. You have to start with the little things, winning one small victory at a time. Eventually you'll be able to step back and look upon what an amazing home you've built and the great new skills you have!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took formal lessons for 8 years with two highly skilled teachers in Toronto, Canada.
After that, I've played professionally since 2014 all over the US and Canada in venues as small as a bedroom to hockey arenas in front of 15,000 people.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons can be 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Rate is $25 per hour, but I am open to reduce pricing for beginners and young children.
How did you get started teaching?
Drumming is what I am best at, and I love sharing what I've learned over the years to the next generation of players.
