About
Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Ms. Morales began her artistic journey with the Children Theater Company. She studied psychology, acting, production and film direction, graduating Magna Cum Laude, at the University of Puerto Rico. Her extensive career in theatre includes many performances in plays, such as “La Carreta,” “The Effect Of Gamma Rays On Man In The Moon of The Marigolds,” “Back To My Land,” “La Ultima Plena Que Bailó Luberza,” “The Living Room,” and “Julia De Burgos; A Child Of Water,” among others. She has performed in many Puerto Rican soap operas, such as “Yo Se Que Mentía,” “Vivir Para Ti,” and “Yara Prohibida.” Her Argentinian credits include “Quiero Morir Mañana,” and “Claudia Morán,” as well as the made-for-TV movie, “Cita En Buenos Aires.” She has appeared in the American T.V. production “Miami Vice.” Her Puerto Rican film credits include, “Orfanato,” “La Granja” and “Romeo y Romeo.” In 2004, she made her debut in New York with “Una Noche Para Olvidar.” In 2005, she debuted in the English productions of “Faded,” and in the ensemble HOLA award-winning production of “The Ortiz Sisters of Mott Haven,” with the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre (PRTT), being nominated for the Best Actress ACE Award. In 2011, she led the cast of “Confesión En El Barrio Chino,” receiving the HOLA and ACE Awards for Best Actress.
