Teaching offers the opportunity to fully live in the middle of what drew me to this artform in the first place. The journey of discovery is where the joy is for me, and when that journey is shared, it is even more fulfilling. So what better than to travel with a student on that journey.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All of my work is text based. I use the script as the doorway or window into behavior, intention, and the specifics of the character. This kind of process-based work is aplicable to all mediums. That said, every actor or acting student is different, and I ask for at least one monologue to start so that I can better understand his/her own approach to the work and determine a path or course that suits that student specifically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an actor, and have a huge range of professional experience across the spectrum -- from print modeling to broadway, industrials and commericals to major films and TV series. A product of training, both here and in the UK, I apply what I've learned to my teaching. My three years as a social worker also gives me additional and unique insight into behavior and thought - the mind of the character.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are as follows
$80 per 1/2 hour not including studio rental.
$150 per hour not including studio rental.
$1350 for 10 anytime hours not including studio rental.
$1700 for 10 anytime hours, rental included.
If you choose to prepay, there is no refund, but the hours never expire. Anytime hours can be broken up into 1/2 hours periods.
Same day cancellations will be chaged at the full rate for single hour appointments, and will count toward one hour for students who prepay.
Skype and FT are both available for the same price.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
No teacher can or should promise paying gigs or huge successful careers. But all teachers should be able to raise the level of the actual work for all their students, and guide them as they develop an individualized approach.
