Irene Sofia Lucio's Acting Lessons

Irene Sofia Lucio's Acting Lessons

About

I trained at the Yale School of Drama in Acting. Much of my training entailed Vocal Technique, Speech, Shakespeare, and Singing

I have an extensive resume which you can see at www.irenesofialucio.com that includes Broadway, Off Broadway, and TV credits. I'm happy to address the commercial side of the business and the difference between mediums.

I used to tutor so I'm a great teacher 1 on 1 and keep sessions fun, dynamic and entertaining.

I love using my background in tutoring and in performance towards helping individuals 1 on 1. I feel that I am making a difference and empowering individuals through voice!

    Frequently asked questions

We start with a 2 way interview to assess the goals and best teaching practices for that individual.

We then do vocal warmups together.

Then we work on text and I coach with the text.

I have tutored academics and coached acting for nine years now!

    100 an hour over facetime

I started in college helping graduate students with accent reduction and English. Then I realized I could use my Spanish and French to help English speakers. And then I did SAT prep and homework help after graduating my masters. Upon graduating Yale I also began coaching acting and using my training on 1 on 1 coachings.

I have worked with preschoolers, elementary school kids, middle school kids, highschool kids, and college students looking to apply to graduate school.

I just finished performing on Broadway in SLAVE PLAY!

Look for how they interact with you and give you personal attention. You want teachers to be invested and give you projects to work on in order to measure your success.
